anyone into this ? at the moment i have to get some money
and buy some decent 5.1 speakers.

i wanna reedit the whole album "Winter in the Belly of a
Snake" by venetian snares.

i think this is the best album for making this cause the
songs are very very complex but all the sounds are nicely
separated, so it shouldn't be difficult to chop them onto
every channel. i can't wait to listen to stairs song in 6
channels !!

could anyone give me some hints which software to use for
these things, that would be very nice.

stay tuned

it's not so difficult at all. you have to chop it alot,
filter it and then you have to arrange everything one the
screen, having each channel separated as one layer...

i looked at this in a course at our local high school.

I would think quite a few people could, just make sure you
make many different types of media available.

mp3 is limited to 2 channels. Some of the other audio
formats like aac and ogg have more channels available.

Go for a walk in a forest instead - unlimited amounts of
channels of sound!
