Apart from the obvious (Autechre) which artists/albums do/did you find hard to appreciate? For me It was Grantz Graf and Confield. Also Claro-Brothomstates is growing on me.I hated it when I first got it,but kept it because I loved "In" (the first track). Its a slow grower. |

well, I've never really found Autechre that hard to get into... the hardest album of theirs for me was Chiastic Slide... because, it was only my second purchase of theirs after Incunabula... after I got into Chiastic Slide, everything else wasn't that bad... Other stuff though, well I found underworld really hard to enjoy... mostly because I was kinda against dance music at the time... the same with Orbitals In Sides album... this album and Second Toughest In the Infants both took a year or more for me to get into them... Peter Gabriel's Passion was a slow grower... I enjoyed it immediately on a smaller level, but then a few months later it just clicked... A recent album that I've bought that's been a slow grower is SEcurity by Peter Gabriel... I bought it a few months ago, and am only really getting into it now... |
