well i only found 8 files.. (the 4 trks 2 times) so it
could've been leaked recently.

what i can hear of track 1 sounds like afx... some oldschool
afx but still

what you mena is you hunted the internet for info and saw
some second hand rubbish from some unofficial site instead
of waiting for the offical word from aphex twins label
rephlex -
that's the problem with the internet - too much
misinformation - too many idiots willing to belive it .

offline guy from sizzle frizzle on 2003-05-11 16:21 [#00694592]
Points: 202 Status: Lurker

well the problem is in this case the source of rubbish
wasn't really second-hand... maybe more like 1st-and-a-half
hand... the misinfo came from srd, the record distributor.
the record was always set for around june-- srd just jumped
the gun for some unknown reason.
I would say it's like this-- you're a kid and your pop tells
you that christmas is on the 2nd of december. of course it's
really the 19th, so you're dissapointed when x-day doesn't
come when you thought it would. cruel cruel world.

nah distributors are well second hand i reckon - the record
label is where you ought to look - rephlex are distributed
by loads of other people like efa in europe and caroline in
the us - look at their boxes for proof - did you check their
websites for proof against what srd said?
any good detective would - cos detectives are people who try
to piece stuff together from rumors half truths and clues -
anyone else is just gullible

on the other hand, warp don't announce new releases until
they've been on p2p servers for at least three months.

offline guy from sizzle frizzle on 2003-05-11 18:11 [#00694683]

caroline doesn't have releasedate info that I know of...
EFA... I haven't checked their site for a while, but last
time I did I couldn't find any mention of rephlex. but it's
cool 'cause looking for release info takes up very little of
my time and interest. it's no super big deal #====
