I know this is going to sound like spam, it's not, this is
a relatively old track of mine and a lot of people have
heard it already...

I was playing Zelda: Wind Waker on GC last night and noticed
the music in the dragon's island dungeons had (at least
some) similarity with my own track:
Paraffin Psychic. Jedi Chris had described paraffin psychic as
"making [him] think of exploring a dark cavern with a
torch"...

I'd appreciate it if other people with Wind Waker could
check this out as I'm not sure if I'm just imagining the
similarity. Cheers.

oh, I should mention that I dont know this game you are
refering to... so this is just my thoughts on your piece on
its own...

Its nice... I like the pad patch you used... very soundtrack
sounding.

There was a few instances I wasnt sure about some of the
notes... and yes I do realize it was supposed to be "tense"
but thats not what i mean... just some of the notes werent
settling right with me...

but besides those few places, it was very nice.

minimalism rocks.

Cheers for the feedback, even if you don't have windwaker
;)

You're the first person that notice (well, mention at least)
the off notes- the whole track started out as the backing
piece, but I couldn't seem to eliminate the off notes
without throwing the rest of it out. I simply quietened that
channel down a lot so it is more of a background, only
audible when the lead pads are quiet.

Neetta: You are indeed the spelling queen.

I'll give it a listen once I get my speakers fixed. That's
a promise.

Overall it was ok, the production needs work. The
overpeaking crackle didnt go well with me at all. Some
eq'ing would get rid of that in a jiffy.
