Yep this was posted a while ago. I have to say this is the
first Ae release that has failed to "grow" on me. I liked
it the first time I listened to it, but I still feel the
same way. I just like it, in an average sort of liking way.
I agree it is probably a fair score.

Odd you should post this now because just 30 minutes ago I
dropped my Draft Cd on the floor then stepped on it, nowit
is ruined...and I wasn't even that bothered and won't buy it
again...Oh well.

i read that review about 3 hours ago. i voted "good" in the
poll, which for an ae album from me is quite high! :P

yeah, I read the review before... my first impressions of
Draft 7.30 were good, yet it seems that was just the newness
factor, as it has become quite dull to my ears... Confield
is fantastic, but Draft is just dull to me... maybe that'll
change, I don't know...

have any opinion on Draft that you monkeys want.. . but
please dont read Pitchfork reviews.. . at least not
seriously.. . they have some utter wank reviewers doing
articles on bands that Im quite sure they have never
listened too. ..

actually, I enjoy Pitchforks reviews... I always read
reviews of albums when I buy them, I don't know why really,
I just find it interesting to read how others find an
album... and I really enjoy the reviews at Pitchfork a lot
of the time... they're usually pretty interesting and
different...

I remember one of their reviews they called something like
the first truely sample based review or something... heh,
cool idea! I forget what album it was for though, probably
DJ Shadow or something like that...

no I havent read that one in particular I dont think ? but I
have read too many other reviews on that site to have any
respect for them.. . of course the reviews are giving their
own opinions.. . but I really wish theyd get people to
review albums that they at least had a passing interest in
the style alone if nothing else. ..

i dislike pitchfork in general (see this thread) but
i've been pleasantly surprised with their recent reviews of
blur (maybe their positive review is just another gimmick
but it was refreshing surprise considering the low score i
forecasted) and autechre (it wasn't that brutal really and
the album ain't all that good). most of their reviews that i
read are still wack but they're doing better. their news
site needs work though. they need to get off
buddyhead's dick.

I read Pitchfork every once in a while, I enjoy the reviews
(SOME of them!) but don't really... ''trust'' them...
really, I only trust Allmusic.com when it comes to getting
ideas of where to go next regarding an artist. I must have a
browserpage open to Allmusic 24/7. :-l
