The Madman of Electronica - How does Aphex Twin get away ... Aphex Twin, aka Richard D. James, is a
reclusive electronic musician and producer known for his
legendary mischievousness: For a while, he took to driving
around the English countryside in a decommissioned tank. He
is also prone to dramatic and silly gestures. His central
London residence is in a former bank building. At one club
appearance, his set consisted of grinding a turntable needle
over sandpaper and then dropping a microphone into a running
blender. Sometimes clever, sometimes not, his contemptuous
behavior is regularly forgiven, even celebrated, by his many
admirers.

yippy, another bullshit article full of journalists' stupid
opinions. if richard hated nin so much he wouldn't have said
he wanted to tour w/ "them" a few years ago. the writer's
explanation for the 2 further down the spiral tracks not
resembling the source material is total conjecture. he also
doesn't know well enough to realize "at the heart of it all"
is based on "ventolin".

*remembers the days when aphextwin.nu had a news page*

Man the reporters are really hung up on his persona ,
blowing it up to proportions.
Personaly i don't think Aphex is that weird at all.
