set up windows sound recorder and record the file while it
plays in winamp to a .wav.

Should be easy enough, despite my crap instructions...

if your winamp plays it fine i guess you could use the
disk-writer plugin (from config-output) to write it to .wav.

i don't have winamp on this comp but it should be pretty
obvious...

something like this: click on the menu-thing and it pops out
- choose options/preferences/config (whatever it's called) -
then choose output - and then the diskwriter. there's a
config button that let's you choose the output rate &
folder. then you play the file but you don't hear anything
because it only writes the file to your hd..

go to preferences and go to output and select .wav disk
writer or whateve it's called, select a destination
directory and then double click the file in the playlist

it goes through your playlist quickly writing mp3s and files
to .wav.

if you only want it to do what file, then get rid of
everythign else in the playlist, or else it'll create all
the songs as .wavs.

Also make sure yuo change it back afterwards!

you gotta set up the midi, lol
I've used midi like once in my life so I've no idea how to
help you, there.

And that wasn't work! It's piss easy recording wavs in
winamp! I'm a stupid yob and I figgered it out!

:)

Good luck though, I think midi can get a little triicky...
