this one'll be easy, guys. i was cleaning out some stuff
and found a copy of mtv music generator. heh. this is
what got me into making music (not that i've really
progressed much since those days. =/ ). anyways...right.
okay. i was poking around and remembered that they have
prerecorded riffs you can just plug into your track. sooooo.
i was thinking. i don't know how many of you out there HAVE
this, but if you DO, or have anything LIKE it, we should all
make a track using just their riff samples and post them in
here.

maybe this'll only be interesting to me, but. hey. uhmmm.
right. i'm probably gonna do it anyways just for the hell of
it, but i was hoping there would be others that would like
to participate, as well. might motivate me to REALLY do it.

I read an article in the NY times last week about a guy that
got signed to some major record label and his primary tool
for music making is the MTV Music Generator...I didn't know
what to think about that...I guess if the music is good the
method behind your madness is of little consequent... I
haven't heard it but i can only guess that it's crap...
anyway, I like your idea...I think Reason has some riffs
that I can dig up...might be good fun

oh, and to add something on-topic: would it count, that i
use samples from e-jay, magix music maker etc, and toss em
