I only like "fat of the land" and I haven't heard too much
chemical brothers. I do really like 'fat' so I'll say
prodigy.

Prodigy's experience was quite good when released, doesn't
do much to me now.
Seen Chemical brothers once, didn't get me moving.
Prodigy then?

i was listening to fat of the land and surrender after a
long long time today

i always kind of prefered chemical brothers
but they're both pretty much the same when it comes to
music-i mean it just depends on a particular track

i remember when dig your own hole was released (especially
when i heard block rockin' beats) i was really obsessed with
it
and yeah, music for the gilted generation was fine as well

The Prodigy for me, though I'm selling all my Prodigy and
Chemical Brothers stuff. I used to be really into it, but my
musical knowledge wasn't as broad back then as it is now and
in comparison with what I'm listening to these days it just
can't compare.

They aren't, but it's not a valid comparison to make because
they're different kinds of music that I would listen to at
different times.

For example, I might listen to The White Stripes in the
afternoon when my brain is alert, but right now I'm
listening to chilled out Kawabata Makoto. You can't compare
the two because they're both the best at the time I'm
listening to them.

man, you took this seriously, didnt you?

and i know what you mean (though i dont know who white
stripes either makoto (what kind of music this is?) are)

and tatu are cool!

Really, you've never heard of The White Stripes? I know you
don't like guitar music, but they're pretty massive, one of
the biggest rock acts in the world today.. Reminds me aof a
mate who, at the height of the World Cup, was completely
oblivious to it's occurence.

Kawabata Makoto is the leading like of Japanese
hypnotic-psychedelic-rock outfit Acid Mothers Temple & The
Melting Paraiso UFO. He also does a lot of solo stuff, this
album, I'm In Your Inner Most, being hypnotic drones and
tones.

hmm, if they're massive i probably heard or read something
about them, but i cant really remember (so they're alike the
hives or strokes i guess)

but perhaps i'll check this makoto guy though (especially
because he's japanese hehe, i thought he was indian at
first, that name...)

Prodigy for me. Never really got into Chemical Brothers.
Seen Prodigy everytime they've been to aus too and i never
really liked any electronic until them. If it wasn't for
them i probably would never got into more broader types of
electronic. I've seen both live and Prodigy own them
everytime.

mate @ work reckons he's heard a few snippets of the
upcoming prodigy album and siad it sounded good.....

that new single though is poop. Well I don't liek it,
anyway. The only bit I like is that intro/hook synth.
kind of FM(?) sound...

The chemicals decline was even faster than tom's hair loss.
The prodigy have sucked satan's cock and become media whores
but if i had to choose i would say prodigy for music for the
jilted generation. Nothing the chemicals have ever done has
come close.
