Earlier today president Bush announced that America will be fighting a new war against hunger: "So many countries are lacking food and neccessary supplies to sustain their own people, this is clearly evil and we shall fight it till the end." Bush especially mentioned Africa where thousands die every day from malnutrition. When asked how America would pay for such an expensive war Bush's cabinet said they would all take pay cuts as well as pass a bill to congress asking them to take a pay cut from their hefty six figure income. "This is indeed a great step forward in humanitarian efforts, the first ever in which we have not expected anything in return, only the joy of helping others," responded Dick Cheney. We then asked Colin Powell how such matters shall be resolved: "We are deploying the Aqua Teen Hunger Force to fight the hunger with salt and oil based weapons. We are also trying to implement potato wedge swords forged in corn oil, to help elimate all world hunger." This war combined with the War on Drugs, War on Terror, and War on Iraq, would put America in the Guiness Book of World Records for "Most Amount Of Wars Waged Simultaneously". |

yeah good startpage. We shall never forget about the poor people of the world. And we shall always do something to improve their situation. There are lots of people who live under really bad conditions, and also there are lots of people, even kids, who work under really lousy conditions. Still most people continiue to ignore the fact that whenever you buy something you make a statement. You're not just getting something in exchange for cash, you're making a difference for everybody who helped developing the product. E.g. if you buy stuff from companies that makes people work for really low wages, then the workers will continiusly get payed really low wages... The same thing goes with everything. Think before you buy. Examine companies, and stick to the ones you trust. Everything else would be to ignore the impact of your actions. |
