whooooo just heard today that i was taken!! i'll be there for some four weeks in august and participate in an experiment (NA48/II) doing some cool stuff and hopefully getting to know interesting people. (Cern is the largest particle accelerator in the world and located in Geneva in Switzerland) i'm so fuckin exited!!!!!!!!111111111111 |

haha, no my work will be to do some analysis on the data and to keep the whole thing running. i will also have to do hardware programming on the calorimeter or other devices maybe, it was also said that the muon-veto-system has to be reinstalled. these all are analyzing devices but i will have an introduction in a few weeks dunno yet exactly what my work will be |
