i've got pretty much everything that was released on ink and
nettwerk, plus some aussie releases, if anyone ever wants to
check some of this out of print stuff, contact me. some of
the sounds (old 80's drum machines, etc) might be a little
dated, but severed heads in the eighties had a unique,
varied sound with lots of nice little melodies. they ranged
from sweet little electronic popsongs to insane, noise
driven experiments. severed heads were, unfortunately, one
of the most innovative but underrated acts of the eighties,
maybe due to their less successful work of the late eighties
and early nineties, when tom ellard's bitterness seemed to
overtake his sense of humor.

severed heads has become pretty obscure, their records in
the us and europe have been pretty much out of print for
years. as i'm sure you know they are from sydney and i
think all of their recordings (or most) are available
through them. i don't have anything that was released in
australia only except "stretcher" and "the big bigot"
australian versions and a bonus cd track here and there.

what's the name of early album?

I had big bigot/dead eyes.. which I didn't touch much at
all. Scary cover work and scary name, I remember.
