thats the purpose of buying aphex twin to do your remix.
People are then interested in the original. Im guessing they
are all crap.

phob never thought this would ever happen when he started
this site!

Devils hairpeice is pretty abstract. I cant remember all the
songs though. that one sticks in my mind more than others.

You could quit posting now, and remain in wonderland. Or you
could post 5 more, and see how far the rabbit hole goes.

come on guys, what about the 26 originals... is there any
clue you can give me?

I just wanna know which ones are very similar to the
remix...

for example, I guess that the dmx krew mix must not be very
diferent from the original...

I know the two nine inch nails tracks pretty much do not
have origins.. they were SUPPOSED to, but james never
listened to the original tracks.. so, reznor threw some
samples from the original track he was supposed to remix
over the james offering.. (the sounds that seem to be some
women moaning catatonic orgasms through kazzoos and someone
blowing through a straw) I think the original is called
"numb" or something.. it's on the downward spiral

and the curve, jesus jones and saint etienne tracks might as
well just credit the source material as that which was
sampled in an entirely new song.. because so little of the
original is used..

the seefeel track is alarmingly close to the original on the
other hand.. as well as, I imagine, the 'let my fish loose'
song

"over the james offering.. thus making it, even if
minimally, a legitimate remix"

is how that should read..

no problem nac

"krieger" is a lot like the original, basically the same
beat, vocals are the same but in no chopped-off RDJ-style :)

heroes by bowie is quite famous...
afx just added the original vocals to the phil glass 1996
version + some edit.

the original track is awesome

yeah...
so it was mixed by phillip glass, then by aphex .... i'm
getting the original now! need to brush up on my bowie i
think......

the 'heroes' mix shouldnt be on there .. afx did SOOO little
to contribute to the resulting sound of that track that it's
a bit unwarrented and probably shouldnt be one of the 26
