any fans here on the board?
And are they, like me, disappointed with audioslave (Zack
left and took all the punch and power with him) and
wondering wtf Zack is doing right now?
Of course "killing in the name of" and "freedom" can't ever
be topped but I Just listened to the battle of los angeles
again and must say that it was their most accomplished
album, technically brilliant.

I think RATM is pretty awful.

Yeah I like the ragers pretty well.....

Zach did a song with DJ Shadow. I think it was called
"disavowed". He did the drumming. It was on shadow's last
single.

such a shame that they split up cos I never had the chance
to feel their invigorating musical force during a live
performance :(

RATM is good. The power of their debut album is amazing.
Their second album isn't as good (at least that's what I
think), but the last one was good again.

The guitars are technically beyond anything I ever heard
before, and Zach was really angry.

I only heard the audioslave record once, and it wasn't
really my thing. I don't know, but Zach was rage (Tom Morell
played an important role too).? You can't have Rage without
Zach. So they shouldn't have tried to continue with some
other singer.

Is it correct that the singer audioslave used to sing for
soundgarden (that have some good songs)? I'm not really
following 'heavy guitar music' anymore...

I fully agree with all you just said morgoth.
And yes he was the singer of soundgarden.

yeah, the guy is from soundgarden - although bizzarly sounds
like led zepplin. the audioslave album would've been better
as an instrumental or with various guest vocals, Tom
Morello's guitar solos on the new album are amazing. it's a
shame he left thou

any ADF fans here? The lead singer with them left before
the latest album was recorded and (although still a good
album) suddenly lacks the punch that they had before.. :(

Ever heard of inside out, the band of Zach before rage.

you should really try to get "No spiritual surrender' (as
far as I know their only release). Great songs, but with
more spiritual lyrics. Heavy though, and you hear where the
Rage voice of Zach got its roots.

I need to check out his earlier stuff, thx 4 pointing it out
for me morgoth. I heard it was a straight edge band.

That might be the case, don't know actually. Whatever,
straight edge or not, you can hear zachs roots, which is
interesting.
They were more spiritual, considerig their lyics.
