I hate Chillout albums.

Don't know if anyone feels the same way, but in my opinion,
Chillout compilations like the Ministry Of Sound's just
really suck.

They're purely just annoying little piano riffs repeated for
5 minutes with a whispery vocal floating in.

I mean, come on! :s

the dream injection compilations are really good

but that kind of cheesy ibiza chill, its just trance anthems
'remixed' by taking the beat off

I have one of these, 'Deep & Chilled Euphoria'. Pretty good
actually, nice to fall asleep to. Got Autechre on it too.

Ones like that are good...

It's just those repititive dj-mixed ones that feature groove
armada and moby 10,000 times that get to me.

dont get me wrong...i love really downtempo stuff.
but all those compilations suck.
making your own is a great idea, cos you are in control.
i do that to help me sleep at night.
