The last 3 hitchhikers I considered stopping for all stood in a place where it would of been incredibly dangerous to stop as they were on dual carriageways without hard shoulders. I understand these people may not have a fie understanding of driving, but surely anyone can see you should wait in a hard shoulder or something? In all three cases a suitable place was within about 300m earlier down the road... |

I would only pick up a good looking female wearing revealing clothes. That way I could tell if she had any weapons. Aside from a small knife, which I'm not worried about. |
