Those are great, my ex and I bought them for our mothers as
bd presents last year. You can make ice cream really cheaply
by getting cream with only 3 days sell by left (supermarkets
always reduce it) and then make ice cream with it that day.
Word of warning, you need a pretty big (1.5litres+) ice
cream maker to make enough for 6 or so decent sized
servings.

You can make some lush flavours mind, peach and brandy with
double cream and sugar... very simple, very bad for you, but
very nice :D

What a difficult question!

There's Hagen Dasz , There's Ben & Jerry's ,...
and then There's all kinds of different flavours in the
'regular' icecream...

I'm gonna go for home made VANILLA.
simple ,but nice.

I'm a ben & jerry's fan myself, but I rate home made
icecream over it any day.

the bad thing about ice is the cookie horns it comes in,
they fuck up the taste of the ice.. most of the time i eat
em without thinking about it.. so i now only order ice in
plastic cups

I recon shandy ice would taste nicer than beer ice. Beer may
be a bit bitter =os

Pogo, Cardiff's Mr. Creemy would deck Joe any day of the
week :D

Fun Fact: My mate crashed his first car crashing into an ice
cream van. Amusingly, his little car was okay, but the ice
cream van was a write-off...

Jaroen: Have a look through the manual- most models allow
you to buy extra bowls for it (you can keep the spare bowls
in the freezer) for about £20 each. Well worth it if you
have a party planned.

Pogo: :P
Jaroen: Yeah, sorbets are pretty hard to do in them... I
tend to put them back into the freezer for a bit after the
machine has finished...

I'd like one of them, but i have a kettle that leaks.
It seems un-rrelated, but I won't be getting a cool ice
thing until i have a kettle thats safe. And that will be
ages away.
O woe is me.

i love violet ice cream! ^^

they have it, and some other unusual flavours, in an italian
ice cream shop in strasbourg (my university town)... they
had meringue flavoured once, very nice too : )
(and i think they had hop flavoured once but i didn't try
it)
