Is there anything ont his label that's no good? I just got
DJ Food - A Recipe for Disaster and it is the shiznit! Half
Step is the most addictive song, I've listened to it 5 times
in a row, so good! Oh, and yeah the coverart is the best
thing ever :P It has a pizza on a turntable, haha!

Funky stuff. A little like hiphop-music without the rap, but
more experimental and funky. Hard to explain, but it´s
worth a listen!

ninja tune has brought some absolutely amazing shit out....
roots manuva, luke vibert, amon tobin, dj vadim, kid koala,
i could go on for ages..
the new hexstatic mix cd is fuckin excellent, but for the
best introduction to ninja stuff, you should get the xen
cuts compilation.
kinda like a "best of" ninja tune.

Yeah, I agree on the Xen Cuts! And Cold Crush Cuts too!
(The albums Let us Play and Let us Replay by Coldcut are
superfluous to mention. They are a must-have!)

there's actually some kinda not that great stuff on ninja
tunes as well... you know: so-so trip hop acts that don't
really stick out in any way... 9 Lazy 9 ain't that super,
nor is Up, Bustle & Out, or Lemon Jelly (well, they're hit
and miss), and i'm not that fond of Kid Koala, either...
he's talented and all, i just don't find his music to be
that interesting...

but to be fair, stuff like Clifford Gilberto, and Wagon
Christ, and Bonobo... they pretty cool!
