went out on saturday night with a few friends. ended up
meeting this lovely girl 'brooke', anyway, she rings me
today tonight to see what im up too, and i end up asking her
to meet me for lunch.

here is my delema!

im shit scared. havent been out with a girl for like 8 years
or something! she makes me so nervous, which is kinda wierd
for me. thing is, i only really split with my wife like 6
mnths ago, and hadnt planned on persueing anything.

i meen, what if i like her? and i think i allready might. i
meen, well, she makes me nervous so theres something going
on.

i figure theres no harm in doing lunch. its all informal and
all, but well, im not real sure i even want to be with
someone yet. i suppose im reading to much into it all,
but....oh i dunno.

im excited, and thats what worries me.

Go for it. It's always a lot more fun (in the long run) if
you're scared rather than it being relaxed and clinical in
execution. Nothing like a bit of awkwardness to prompt
spontaneous kissing... go for it mullado!

Why don't just go with the flow and see what happens in the
coming days/weeks. And if you find yourself the right time
and please (not on that diner offcourse), you could tell her
honestly what's on your mind (what you wrote in your post)

i think your real problem is that you're looking for advice
on a message board.

relax guy, its just lunch
last girl i took to lunch on a first date, i am marrying May
10th.

Congrats evolume!

I think asking for advice on a mb isn't a problem.. no one
here would have any sort of ulterior motive that might
influence our advice. People he really knows might...

Hepburnenthorpe: Just be relaxed, don't expect anything yet
and just have a good time with a woman :)

Evolume: Congrats in advance!
