Fuck! I can't find my Thought for Food CD by The Books. It's in my top 5 of all time. I'll have to order another one if I can't find it.
Where'd I put it?
Anyone who is instrumental in helping me locate it gets a nude picture of me.
I already looked in the freezer...

Have you put the cd in the wrong case? Or is it in an old discman ?
Do you remeber the last time you heard it?

Last time I listened to it was before I got my new computer. The case is missing, and the disk isn't in the old PC.
I have a creeping sense of horror that it got tossed out along with some packing material an shit...

do you have lots of cds?
(i must have approx. 70 only, all classified in alphabetical order in two towers, a little one for electro and a big one for the rest - though of course it's not always obvious to determinate what is electro or not...)

That's the kind of thing that would give me a nervous breakdown, trying to categorise music by style.

i don't like classifications! i only do it because the tower isn't big enough for all cds... and well it's only "electro" and "non-electro", not that much classificated. : )

Ya know, every week I vacuum under the hall table where the router and DSL modem are, and every time there is a dust bunny the size of Peter Rabbit made of that week's stray cat hair sitting there glowering at me.
Maybe Peter took my disk.

Aw shit, I think maybe it's in my wife's office, in which case it is truly lost forever, with the pineapples and the airplanes and the orange shirted landing party. It is the Bermuda Triangle of our household.

IFOUNDIT!!!!!1111
It was on a shelf in my wife's office - oddly so, and not in the middle of one of her patented four foot stacks of paper.
*sigh* what I need is my grandmother alive again. My aunt used to call her up and ask her where things were, and she'd say "look under the bed" or "did it fall down between the sofa and the end table" and she was always right on the first guess. Made her a little cocky it did.

Listening to it again I am starting to realize it is the best album in my collection. Read a review here (and no that isn't another goatse link).
It's so densely packed with interesting sounds and samples, yet also intensely emotional.
I uploaded it to the ftp and that schmuck deleted it...
