Chris Clark - Ceramics Is The Bomb

So... I like it... but not as much as clarence park... of
course, it's shorter... but it doesn't feel like it has the
level of variety. The track "Rob Lee" never really sucked me
in in the first place though... although "wolf" did... I
think his album, coming later this year, will blow this
little excursion away. Still, this is pretty nifty.

i like it better... i think he has grown alot as an artist.
his abilities have really shown themselves on this little
baby. true, their isnt as much overt variety, but i think
his pieces more a culmination of that process, instead of
track to track.

what is it like the more up-beat stuff on park, or the low
beat (non-beat?)...

2003 is looking to be a vintage year ...

how long does an album need to be
to be called "album"?
Or is it just the number of tracks that counts?
I did like Claerence Park,
but an album less than 20 minutes...
I'm sceptic.

offline carwash from United Kingdom on 2003-04-14 08:27 [#00649424]

so it is that short...thought i had an editited copy or
something..either that or it was so good (it is good btw) an
hour had flown by without me noticing!

offline Key_Secret from Sverige (Sweden) on 2003-04-14 08:49 [#00649480]
Points: 9325 Status: Regular

ah- I have no idea how long the final album is,
I just thought that was the length of the album, after
reading some of your posts...
hope it's way longer.
Clearance Park is too short - it feels like something is
missing indeed. I really like that
album though.

Is it only an EP or is it sold as an album?

It's just an ep, but I didn't think it was out until 19th
May.

Yeah i didn't think it was out either... well that is pretty
cool! I am disappointed that it is 19 min though. I love his
material!

He's not calling this an album, he's calling it an EP. He
has another album coming out this year.

and martinhm: almost every release hits the net about a
month early now, if you know where to look
