food evening young idm'ers (and old, but no-one is old) i have just walked all the way from my house to uni, it only took as long as the 'radio head-kid A' album, literally, from my house to the library revolving door....at the end of my quest i found that i appreciated radiohead in a way i never thought i would... they are great and have captured the undertones of the 'warp' sound.
have any of you appreciated anything like this before with music, or can you only listen to cerstain music in certain situations?
the florr is open to you...

Yep, I greally got into Geogaddi after walking down the woods at night listenin to it on my stereo. Cliche I know, but it's how it should be listened to...
Another one is driving on remotre roads at night listening to a []>er mixtape including beep street, ufo over leytonstow, I wish you could talk, tundra, etc. that really cemented them as some of my fav tracks.

well, i've had many many situations where listening to an album just fit the moment perfectly, but that usually doesn't mean that the album, for me, is suited for the same circumstances anytime, rather it was just a special moment that was meant to be.
for example, i once listened to mum's 'finally we are no one' as i went to sleep. i feel asleep in much peace somewhere in the middle and woke to the earlier part of the last track and it was so beautiful i began to sob. can't exactly recreate that just by throwing in the disc at bedtime.

woah....that's freakish... it never happened to me...anyways, i have had another revelation...i am happeier on the net talking in virtual reality than i am with anyone i know personally...
do you just get those days when you feel unhappy being everywhere? it has a sligh association with the feelings that i had when i was going through my teenage years..."no0one understand, there's no-one like you out there....what's the point of trying?"
you know...but i am not a teenager anymore (and i am not on my period)...so....i think i might be having a mad moment of geniousess block!

Sorry, I was "in" the woods whilst listening. I was out of the woods after just over half way through the album.
I say walking "down" the woods as the woods are downhill from where I live... sloppy english for, "down through the woods".

I don't know if I should say what was going on when Prefuse 73's Vocal Studies + Uprock Narratives was playing in the background... ;)
Let's just say I appreciate the album a lot more now in hindsight.

it was the honey moon period between me and my new found love partner 'ryan' and i was in love with tri rep (ae) at the time.....the album always seemed to sound different everytime we had **cough**...i mentioed this to sean from AE and he said (tongue in cheeck) that that is what the album was recorded for or made in, or something....

it's less like hip hop album and more like an ambient, but in a good way..
I reckon it has more life than the last album though, also, I'm dead certain they sampled some autechre on it too..

I always put on "Licensed to Ill" when we're driving around stoned.
You pump it up really loud and rap along to it, yelling out the windows.
After a few bars I can't stop laughing!
"I drink brass monkey! and I rock well! I got a CASTLE in BROOKLYN that's where I dwell!"
