ok, two things,
first: is this a legitimate equation, or just something concocted to look all 'hardcore mathematical'
second: does anyone know the answer?

Joyrex asked a bunch of scientist types and they all said it was not real for soem reason and then one of the recognised it and told him "nah that's just a song title"
I'd lean toward the "no" answer, myself

why don't we call it 'fext' instead of 'equation' ...just look at the trackname. it has the letters fext. we should use that

i think it's nothing but i read once at the mu board that it could be an FFT relative to effects used or the way they are apllied to the song
i'm shit in math but i know i use FFT's in cool edit pro everyday,
Fast Fourrier Transforms... i think you use them to go from the frequency plane to the time plane... and they are used in many high end sound effects/manipulation...
