some experimental stuff i made lately. i think this is the easisest music to make, although i sat about 3,4 hours each song. enjoy and review ! |

weird stuff... funny, I can't make tracks that fast (3-4) hours... it's more like 20 hours or more. but that's me =) I like "doom" more than "s"... "s" had a lot of high frequencies in the begining that was too high for me... also "doom" develops nicer than "s". |

why didn't you submit doom into the ae competition, the Gantz Graf sample is obvious but you have done a very good job with it. |

I think they're both great. Complex fast stuff attracts my attention. Some of the parts of doom, like that weird melody at about 0:50 sound like something just added for the sake of adding something, but most of it is quite entertaining and interesting. Sounds like you use some of those VST plugins, or whatever they're called? I've found it often helps to make each strike of sound of the same time length (keeping relative to the smallest tempo unit of the track). |

ecnadiarb: that's funny. i haven't used any samples except the ones in fruity at all... and gantz graf ?? never ! wMw: with the weird melody it sounded better for me... i dunno, other people like it quite. oh, and to the plugins. there isn't much to say. for doom it was about 8 granulizers (i hope this answer doesn't make you like the song less) and some distorted fruity samples. the hard thing was the mastering... |
