fucking hardware (again)...

can you count on the stuff you use to play your music? i'm
losing hope...

first i had an old cd player and koss porta pro headphones,
which both used to belong to my father, and everything
worked all right. it was some years ago. after some time,
the headphones started to go berserk, with parasite noises,
i didn't know why. i had them repaired, but the problem
started again after a few months... so i thought maybe they
were too old, bought a new pair for myself because everyone
said they were best (i tried sennheiser hi-fi ones at the
shop but i still prefered the koss ones) - and guess what,
the same problem happened after a few months at the left
side. (if you're wondering, i WAS taking care of them! i was
even afraid folding them (which they are intended to be able
to do), or carrying them when listening to it in car or even
in my bed...). i wondered then if, maybe, it was the old cd
player who made them go berserk - at the shop, they said it
was a possibility. so, i bought a new cd player (i know i
posted a topic about this on this mb... i took my time to
made my choice but still...). first i took an expensive one,
and i was deceived, it wasn't pratical at all, not
ergonomic, tiny buttons, a fucking remote control, and
sometimes it started at a random track, etc... i brought it
back, had a refund, then bought a cheaper one, similar to
the old one. it workd quite ok. then my repaired headphones
finally arrived... they had changed the left side only. and
now, it's the right side who gets parasite noises. and i
still DO take care of them and everything, all i do is
listening alone in my room! of course, no one understands at
the shop... besides, the cd player makes some weird noises
while playing some cds... i can't afford ¤300 hi-fi players
or anything (only portable cd players i can afford), i can't
listen with speakers either because i'm not alone in my
house! *sigh*.....
i know computers had a lot of problems, but in fact
everything a little technologic seems to go this way...

i know i already

posted several topics about that before, sorry for
disturbing. i just had to write this, mostly for cathartic
purpose, i'm getting mad about this.

but i'm seriously thinking of just giving up and trying to
"disintoxicate" myself from music, just stop listening to
it, before i get real mad... it will be hard, but it seems
to be the only way to get out of this mess °_°

i have to say that i got bad ears. i always thought that i
have good ones. i went to a high school i would want to go
to, and there they have a really awesome studio, with really
cool speakers, digital cd players and stuff. i asked the
teacher to play one of my self burnt cd's. when i listened
to it, i thought what the fuck ? there was so much hiss and
pops o never realised before on my portable cd player and my
headphones.

now i see that i don't have to buy better hardware, cause i
wouldn't even notice the difference

minidisc player are even more of a bitch then cd players,
they last about 5 months of continual use, and then die, and
if you repair it, it will just do the same thing again, I
had a friend that got his repaired like 3 times, now his
warranty has run out and he doesn't even bother anymore.

It's all probably a conspiration, they don't want us
to listen to good music.

it's reality's fault.
it spoils everything.

someday, when i'll quit this human body i hate and get my
powers back, i'll make it pay for all this!!!

quality hardware is something that seems rather difficult to
find in todays product, all the very old hardware i have at
my house is still functionning where all the new stuff (esp
digital stuff) seems to break down in less than a year's
time:(
you have to pay big bucks just to be sure it'll still be
usable in 2-3 years
