I had the copied version of kid a and today I saw it a
record store for 13.99 euros, so I decided to buy it.
And uhm now I have two questions.
- Does your copy of kid a have this short vague live
recording at the beginning of track 1?
- and did you get an extra booklet inside?

maybe these are stupid questions but I had never heard of
this before so help me out here.

no, it's just the first track.
Well, I'm quite happy with actually. The beginning of the
first track is not annoying or anything.

I'm gonna read it later on, I hope it's a nice story. Or
maybe it's just random words.

Yes, i also got the live-sounds at the beginning of the cd.
And like netlon said, the tracks are all weird too. (the
first song continues to play 40 seconds into track2... and
so on for the entire cd).

I don't like to hear all those screaming people everytime i
listen to kid a (which is alot :-)), but i kept it anyway
because i thought it might become a collector's item :-p

Later i also bought the limited edition of Kid A (with the
cardboard-booklet with paintings in it), and now i always
listen to that cd... it has a normal beginning :-)

I heard that the misprint sells for more on E-Bay but I dont
kow how much. I think that its a Pearl Jam live album at the
start.
