I had the same thing a couple of years ago. My ex girlfriend walked out after 3 years. If it may comfort you, I've had a wicked year after she lefts (new freedom) and did all crazy stuff. I don't have contact with any of my ex girlfriends, I guess it's better that way to move on. Good luck. |

I am the same way. I DO NOT talk to ANY Ex-Girlfriends...I just dont like the whole " Lets still be friends" thing. The ONLY EX I still talk to is the woman who took my virginity...lol...shes a GOOD friend...crazy huh. All my other EX's can rot. |

I'm talking for me personal but I guess it goes for a lot of you. A relationship ends because something is broken and that has it reason. You can't go back to friends if you were in a relationship. You can't leave behind the hurt from the past. It's a difficult situation, I've tried it once. It's a strange feeling, although you now you're broken up, you still feel a bound when you're togheter and you easily go to 'give it another try' knowing it won't work again. Then you end up in bed and sometime later it's back to shit as usual. All this makes thing only more complicated. |

Im sorry that really sucks man. I hope everything works out for the better! Staying friends is too strange for me, My first serious relationship ended pretty bad, unfortunately my mother and her were still friends afterward...a few months later (I had just started going out with my Girlfriend whom Im still with to this day) My mother invited my Ex to move in with us when she was kicked out of her house...that really sucked that my mother would do that...Anyway we tried to be friends, what a stupid thing that turned out to be, so I agree with Ironlung and the rest of you, its not a good idea to stay friends.
