Eh,I thought that was pretty far removed from the Autechre sound.Hopefully they aren't trying to emulate them in anyway because originality is thin on the ground these days.God,I find the whole thing in reviews when people say "sounds like aphex,boards,ae,sp" etc so boring,don't people listen to anything else?Sometimes it seems that way.I checked track 5 and it seemed quite dubby actually. |

Track 5 has a long way to go before it's as deep and well crafted as autechre. Fizzarum is an obscure group that sounds more like autechre than this. They have a site to download their sound files for your own music. google "fizzarum". |

havent heard it.. . but for the sort of well crafted autechre sound your talking about you should have a listen to Upland.. . this cool guy from norway.. . very good music.. . sort of ae like in construction.. . I think its got a sound thats a little easier to get your head around.. . very dark and driving stuff.. . the album is short and sweet.. . if you like newer ae stuff youll love this.. . http://www.upland.no/ the website seems to be down atm.. . but when it was up there was a free unreleased track and the intro track off the album.. . the unreleased track is more an indication of whats of the album though.. . though every track on the album is better. .. |
