i played one of their songs--"poor leno"--on my show this

the answer is "no".

their album Melody A.M. has gotten glowing reviews... saw it
in the store the other day, and remember hearing about them
on here... was gonna pick it up...

yea it gets smashing reviews, but the song i heard was just
standard techno with some slightly embarassing singing..
like a european geddy lee.. i'm gonna play another song or
two on my show to see if maybe that was just a poor example
of their greatness

i was always under the impression they were good, but then i
never heard anything by them that would have been special.
kind of a warm-up band for moby (what they are too) (=lame)

they're ok....I listened to Melody A.M. while driving with
friends through snowy mountans one morning. It really has
that snowy/morning sun feeling to it.

I saw a concert this weekend with Royksopp, and they really
kick it live...

'poor leno' is absolutely the worst song of theirs, at least
out of what i've heard...
they've got some nice ones too...

this music is good in case you're driving with people that
cant stand electronica and if you cant stand their shit, you
put royskopp on and everyone is happy

I like Royksopp. They do REALLY AWESOME mixes like:

Kings Of Convenience " I Don't Know What I can Save You
From"

Tits: Play that on your show, TRUST ME.

tolstoyed> what you mean is that everyone is disappointed.
you, because Royksopp is crap electronica, and everyone else
because it is any form of electronica. nobody wins.

I happen to enjoy Melody A.M. a ton, both CD's are sweet.

'Poor Leno' is their poppiest song that's why you probably
don't like it, and I can agree with you for the most part.
If you want a song with good vocals then 'Remind Me' is the
one to choose.

Other than that, I've been listening to the album a lot
recently, and their are some quality tunes.

'In Space' is jaw-dropping. What an amazing song, and my
favorite by them.
