To the unenligtened, this may sound like a joke/gibberish, but are any of you excellent individuals familiar with this band? I found out they existed trough the danny elfman link... tell me what you think. i'm like them a lot right at this moment. |

you know thats a HARD question...um damn...I guess its a little funk punk and harmony and wierd progressions, and elfmans awsome song writing...PLUS HIS VOICE I hope that wasnt a lame description |

I dont know too much about them YET! but only a lad seems to have the material i like the best up till now. I want everything theyve made, right at this moment... but i really really want to investigate more. I've just been a fan of Danny Elfmans music since seeing Nightmare before christmas, and then beginning to notice how he fucking produces 50% of all good film music out there! Weirdly enogh, ive just gotten into oingo boingo lately, even though i've known of Dannys genius for a long time. We have something in common i guess... Cure fan here 2.... =))))) (Espicially when they use a lot of synths!!!) |

Well, it appears that oingo is based mainly on Danny Elfmans unique voice, ingenious compositions and weirdness in a superb blend!! thats what i know about them at least. |

Its always great to know you're not alone in the world! I feel like that right now.... If you really want to be cool, you might wery well like these two bands: Superheroes Mew Try checking them out on kazaa or something.... theyre danish, but they will have global record deals wery soon, and if you get to learn them now, youll seem wery cool in the future! theyre the perfect blend of rock/ 80 sound and wery personal voices and clever music making!! Mew: Snow brigade is this the new video song? the video.... awful at frst when he sings and tries to sound and look like a cute little girl but then when he shuts up it gets good. they play their jazzmasters and it gets louder and louder. and the six last seconds are excellent. brrr |

boingo rules. my favorite happens to be "no spill blood". mahvelous, dahlink. and the cure? oh christ. don't get me started. my cousin gave me a copy of 'wish' back when it first came out in 1992. been a fan ever since. robert smith is my hero. and SOOOOoo under-rated. |
