SICK

A SICK range of sexy panties and padded bras for girls as
young as seven has been blasted by furious mums.

BHS was yesterday forced to withdraw its Little Miss Naughty
knickers aimed at seven and eight-year-olds after protests.

But the top High Street clothes chain REFUSED to drop the
range’s £8 padded bras for girls aged ten and over.

A spokesman claimed the lingerie was “harmless fun”.

Angry mum Linda Foster, of Gateshead, Tyne and Wear,
complained after spotting the underwear at a BHS branch in
Newcastle upon Tyne.

She said: “Targeting them at girls as young as seven is
disgraceful. It gives out completely the wrong message to
parents, children and the people who abuse them.

“It is selling sex to kids. Girls shouldn’t be wanting
to enhance their cleavage at their age.”

Linda was backed by children’s charities. Kidscape said:
“BHS needs its head examined. Why would a girl of ten need
a padded bra.” Childline was also furious.

BHS is the latest chain to spark outrage over sexy clothes
for kids. Ethel Austin withdrew lacy black bras for
six-year-olds.

And Argos was attacked for its range of thongs for young
girls.

BHS last night defended its bras, based on the Mr Men
character. It said: “The merchandise is harmless fun. No
innuendo is intended.”

Discuss.

Carl on most occasions I agree with you....In this case I

Targeting kids for sexual marketing is just moraly wrong..

Seems like kids can't just be kids any more. And with all
this fashion shite they're getting pushed into adulthood far
too fucking soon, with the help of the media and
magazines... it's all too much, I doubt there is a
foreseeable way back...

I saw a programme a while back about children as young as 6
wearing make-up.
Pretty much the same idea.

Its un-fashionable to be a kid anymore, i totally agree with
you DJ, i hate that type of thing.

I sit down in the town center with my girlfriend and watch
all these 8 year olds wearing all Nickelson clothes and
tarted up like they were on a night out, and then i see a
bumch of 10 year old's wearing Slipknot and Manson hoodies

it really pisses me off
