anyone go to any of these legendary occasions?
i was at a plus 8 gig in '91 - that was pretty early.. dont
think it was their first though..
i bet some of the older electronic/idm artists started out
playing some well dodgy places ;)

i was at a stakker gig in 88. at the riverside in hyde near
manchester. and while they were playing the battery cover
came off the 303 and the batteries rolled out but they just
carried on miming.

when you hear a 303 does it sound modern then, or old
fashioned?

George,

Dude you must be pretty old. I must say I'm pretty surprised
that anybody on the Board was listening to that sort of shit
back in '88. My earliest experience would have been an all
nighter which would have been probably back in '94 which had
Mu-Ziq, Mouse on Mars, Ultramarine and a few others. To be
honest at the time I thought it was total shit. And I don't
even think Mu-Ziq turned up.
