I just wanted to say that this is an awesome cd. I just
got it in the mail today. The disk is shaped like the
Rephlex logo, and I had a hard time getting it to play in my
cd-rom. Very Yummy music though.

Not too many people seem to know this music. It's really
worth a listen. Some good stuff.

What does it sound like, or what would you compare it to?

Boc, AFX, Ovuca, AE etc??

Unfortunately, many ppl don't know how good is the music of
Bochum Welt. Feelings on a screen is really a great CD.
La nuit slumber mix is a wonderful track!

The sound of Bochum Welt is often similiar to Bola, BoC and
to early AFX works. Sometime his style could be near also to
Sakura by Susumu Yokota.

Anyway he has an own style, imo.
It's not Drill'n'bass and it's not like Autechre.

Is it mellow all the way through, or can he bang a gong as
well?

The shape of the cd is funny... The best track by bochum is
B2 from "module 2" - what a sound! Really lo-fi computer
game style... awesome.

i'd describe Bochum Welt like Kraftwerk mixed with
analogue-Aphex melodies..

Best Bochum Welt track is Phaedra from Phial ep imo, i
haven't doubts. It's a great melody.

I searched for days to get Feelings on a Screen cause they
songs are great and the CD is just cool looking. It's a
Rephlex logo, and a real bitch to get into a cd-rom.
Phial is a great release. I need to buy it next. Can't
wait for a new release. Curious to see where his music is
going.

I have a couple of his works. Quite neat indeed. Sounds like
a good find 006! That sounds like a neat CD! Especially the
shape.

Where did you order from?
