Miles
Django
John McLaughlin

Lately I've been getting into some of the modern jazz stuff
on Emusic, like the Vandermark 5, Rova Saxophone Quartet,
Bill Heid, and the Mount Everest Trio.

disclaimer: I don't know much about Jazz. Hell I don't know
much about any one genre of music. I take a little from
column A and a little from column B.

In A Silent Way by Miles Davis soothes my troubled mind.

mr diablo you should check out jan jelinek and computer soup
album- some tracks are "in a silent way" like, but far more
technologically advanced.
