so, i saw on pollstar.com that 4tet and manitoba are coming
to town in may... please, people, give me some info on these
bands, and perhaps some links to interviews, or whatever
else might be of interest. i have never heard either of
their work, but know that they are perhaps in the same genre
of some of the elect. music i like (BoC, Aphex, Ae, and
sq.push) info...? thanks... joey

they're both a bit more "organic", but music is totally
wonderful
you musn't miss these two
there's probably some information about the gig on the leaf
records site...

he played some of what sounded like his stuff..but all of it
had this constant boring big beat break going on underneath
throughout..not very IDM :(

oh wow, this is great.. i just checked to see if they were
coming up my way, and apparently they're joining prefuse73
on his show in boston i was already planning to go to... so
even if manitoba does suck live... im sure at least one of
them will be good

hummmmmm

i downloaded a couple manitoba tracks and found them to be
TOO mellow.....kinda old style. i deleted them (yes that
means i didn't like them at all)

i was hoping it would be more like BoC, but i found them
sadly lacking....Four Tet i have no opinion about at this
time.

Manitoba's latest CD (Jacknuggeted) may as well have been a
Four Tet release, the sound is that similar.
