would you agree with this review?

review

i'm still undecided wether to buy this or not, from some
reviews (including this one) it seems like there is no
emotion in his songs, just cool programming...

I agree with that completely.. although I don't find it all
that 'cerebral' .. not nearly as much as confield

I think the ambient interlude-type songs are the best on the
album

blah. venetian snares blows. i've heard all of his music and
to me its just snazzy programming. nothing else. but thats
just my opinion i might be wrong.

he's right that it won't give you a warm fuzzy feeling, but
this album is hella emotional. it's got a very depressing,
claustrophobic, tense mood to it. plus, his music is the
kind that takes a while to wrap your head around. all the
syncopation within the framework of unusual time signatures
can really frazzle your brain. he might come around later,
who knows. or not. there's no accounting for taste.
