The Soulseek One Minute Massacre!

Soulseek Records is proud to announce our second release,
the One Minute Massacre Volume One.

One Minute Massacre, is built from a simple concept: each
artist creates 1-2 minutes of music which is then passed to
the next artist, who smoothly (or not so smoothly) picks up
from the end and attaches another 1-2 minutes of his or her
own. Two sets, each totaling roughly a half hour of
continual sonic mutation.

Listen and purchase the album at the following link:

http://www.soulseekrecords.com/index.php?p=release.slsk002

Thank you!

Monoid, that's not the 1MM... that's the first release...

It's an alright review - perhaps a bit harsh in places, but
in the end he seemed to give it a high rating. I thought
parts of it might've been a bit pretentious though.

Probably comes from the association with the file sharing
program.

This new release is something completely different.

Thats a cool concept for an album. Definantely gives it some
variety. Maybe this MB could do something like that for
kicks.

well the whole, id like to hear nore from these artists and
its definitely worth the trouble comments are definitely
positive.

I think it treats slsk records as new at making records and
says that the first attempt is quite promising

I think mainly the problem they had with it was the lack of
composition.

I do not agree very much with that but it is true to some
extent.

If you ask most of the artists on slskcompv1 they will tell
you that they dont like the track they submitted and have
grown from that point.

I would have to agree.
We are all better as artists from a year ago and compv1 def
left alot of room for us to mature:)

i think 1mmv1 has shown that, and 1mmv2 will show that even
more.
