Totally!

When I was first getting into the album I was very
depressed, so when Thom sings "You look so tired and
unhappy", it felt like he was singing it to me ...needless
to say I was pretty overwhelmed.

though there will be "surprises" anyway, whether you want it
or not and no matter how hard you try... :)

you can just always try to fight against it. (but it can
become very nasty when you believe your "surprises" are
coming from someone else...)
