6IE.cr was my fave initially... because it's pretty straight
forward, a nice beat to start out. But now I'm leaning
towards VL AL 5.

can't really answer that question right now,i haven't
listened to it all yet...
But "reniform plus" is heading in a good first place right
now, allthough the hall thing seems amazing.

I have to change what i said before, actionly "surripere"
would be my favourite, the construction with the beat and
the melody is prodige

i am definitely waiting for it to be released...
it might be a good 4/20 album :)

offline ziggomatic from ??....uv ajed...deja vu....?? on 2003-02-28 18:07 [#00575104]
Points: 2523 Status: Lurker

also, have you noticed that weird pattern that Autechre sort
of has with album releases?
like, the first album, Incunabula, which means "first"
something in latin,
third (Tri-Repetae)
fifth(technically LP5)
and this new one the seventh (Draft 7.30)
...the titles of the odd number albums always have the same
number as the order of the album, or a word that pertains to
it,
but the even-numbered albums don't....
i kinda like that in autechre
maybe just a coincidence, but i think they meant for it to
be that way....
?
do you agree?

It is kind of funny reading about which tune is the best,
when it hasn't been released yet. Don't get mad at me,
though, I have downloaded a tune as well, just to listen to
what kind of style it is.
