D00d!!!1111 how goes the music? I'm still refining the process of getting the right hand working with the left hand, tryna get a ii-V happening on the one and a melody or bass goin on the other whew hard work Wanna collab on something else? I have improved immeasurably since January and am now a bona fide prima donna. I require a dressing room stocked with the finest spring water and bowls of Smarties with the purple ones removed. |

music's still going strong (im told by marlowe :D). what's the left hand right hand malarky all about? you mean left hand: C - G - C - G A B - C - G.... type stuff, with solos on the right hand? might do some collab stuff soon, got a few ideas bumping around somewhere, picking up dirt..... i could do with some water actually, but promise me one thing.... stay off the cheap wine!! |

aw but the cheap wine is cheap and low calorie compared to beer, spozed to be good for me yeah that's the ticket been playing along with some r&b choons, Booker T and the MGs, that Tommy Guerrero soul/funk/blues deejay set, and in an adventurous moment, Thelonius Monk, trying to pick up the rudiments of blues and soul stuff. I get some basic ideas, then go off and do my own stuff. Right now I have a loose sketch with a 1-4-5 dominant 7th progression and some modal harmonic minor noodling over the top, tentatively titled Blues for Saddam. :-) I'm digging up some of the old midis I composed with a mouse before I had a proper keyboard, might revoice them and render them to wav and muck about.... |
