Did anyone see Jacko's rebuke to Bashir's documentary on
Sky One last night? I don't have Sky, so obviously didn't
see it, but I am genuinely interested to see if it shows
Michael in a more favourable light.

Me and my pop culture. I just love it.

Yes I saw it.. Aside from being a terribly made dcumentary
it was pretty damn interesting! Showing Bashir to be two
faced was easily done, but that a journalist would act in
such a way in order to gain their trust isn't really such a
shock..
Some of the footage of MJ sitting-just casually chatting was
far more interesting than anything in the original doc.. Yes
I felt relieved after watching it...

I saw bits of it but it wasn't very interesting. Just showed
a bit of manipulation by Bashir which is to be expected from
most journalists.

I've started to doubt the honesty of this entire Jacko
thing. Throughout his career he has been the consumate
performer and a 'shrewd' businessman (as many of those he
has fucked over in the past have said).

It seems HIGHLY unlikely that the only documentary to be
made in years that features new footage of the man
discussing the deepest recesses of his life, would be
allowed to air without his (or his peoples) approval.

Then you look at what happened to his sales after the first
doco and it looks slightly more suspect. His sales increased
by 1000%!!

Also the only people that seemed to be 'outraged by the
revelations' that came to light in the show, were the media.
Everyone else I have spoken to felt in some way sorry for
him, or at worst said that he 'probably shouldn't be
sleeping in the same room as kids, but I don't think hes a
kiddy fiddler.'

He has come out of this STINKING of roses, and making more
money than in the 10 previous years put together
(speculation - but possible!).

The footage from last nights documentary could have been
shown twice and it would have just filled a half hour slot
(with ads)... but somehow they managed to drag it out for 2
fucking hours!!! I turned off after an hour n arf.

And I like the man!
