I can't wait for it to be released, as any of the other

It is good, and I'm liking it more and more. And despite the
fact that there's been a squillion threads about it so far,
I'm still not cheesed off with more :)

Would you believe I now have two copies of the Draft
7.30 promo cassette?! Damn thing is more common than the
cold!

It's great, but I don't like it as much as Confield. Better
than Gantz Graf though.

My fave album of the year so far, but I can't hide my
disapointment... nothing on it surprised me.

My curiosity is piqued by the text on the cassette inlay
that says "any resale of this item is prohibited by law,
however, should you wish to resell the item illegally, we'd
like to advise you that the market value of the item will
increase significantly after the album's release date.
thanks for your full attention."
, so I think I'll hang
on to them both, at least for now. Maybe it's just hype
(promo hype?? eh?) or maybe there's something special about
the cassettes...

well of course it will go up in value

and it isnt like you are a record store selling it.

its a personal possesion, and you are free to do with it
what you want.

Was just hoping :)

If its the money you are worried about, contact me down the
line, Ill still be interested in buying it.

I wasn't worried about the consequences of selling a promo,
I was more interested in the "value will go up" part. If the
promo tape was just the same as the final release, the promo
would go down in value after the release. I mean, who would
want a cassette of something like Autechre when there's
crisp CDs of it available? I'll keep you in mind anyway
though in the event that I decide to sell it :)

Draft is like PeelSessions2, which is smashing.

And thanks God, nothing like Gantz Graf.

I doubt it will go up in value after the final album is
released to be honest.

True, the artwork may be different from the final CD, and of
course, it won't be officially released on Micro Cassette
format, but I seriously doubt it will appeal to anyone but
the most completist of Autechre enthusiasts, who will most
likely have the promo already.

As is stands, I sold my copy for £45 about a month ago, and
was pretty please :>

"I have roughly 200+ cds' and I only ever feel like
listening
to 2 or 3. but that 2 or 3 changes every day and I often
find myself cycling right through my collection within the
month, just go with what you feel like listening to, don't
force yourself to listen to anything, just wait until you
want to... "

same thing happens with me, sometimes I wonder why I have
some cds but I always return to most of them, it all works
out, dont try to force yourself into anything if you dont
want to listen to it at that point.
