Hehe, well, this has been written before. ^_^
Ambient's nice, but I can't fall asleep when I listen to music. I feel asleep during St Michel + St Michael, though. ^_^

Otherwise Classical music is really nice. Check out Tchakowsky (yes, I know, it's spelled wrong) and Ravel's works.

how is that budakhan mindphone? is it like music is rotted one note?
I have heard iambiac 5 poetry or whatever it is called...I love that song but it sounds like our underwater torch song

def. the best track to fall asleep to is the last track of Björks 'Telegram'
It's a remix of 'Headphones' by Mika Vainio

A nice slowbeat to count my sheeps with. :-) Seriously, I have made a compilation with some melodic ambient work from aphex and the piano tracks from druqs that I try as nightcap but hearing some songs wanne make me hear the whole album and then I pop out of bed to have listen. I need sleep. :-)

JAroen: try leaving the tv on with the sound very lightly down so that you can still faintly hear people talking, the best channel to leave it on is cnn which sometimes has very boaring interview which go for ages. its very stimulating
