I'm listening to their album Balance. I like the fact that
there's a good variety of tones in their sonic palette.
Clicks, rattles, bonks, scrapings, zizzes and hollow
thuds... nicely structured syncopation too... if you're
going to be this abstract you need to hold things together
somehow.

Don't know that much about them except that I like them!

Well RA compression would just kill this music. It's very
minimal with a lot of tiny subtle sounds dancing around.

That nono/sakamoto sounds interesting...

do you like any Martin Brinkmann fleetmouse? I really like
it, it's a lot more straightfroward but there are some nice
rhythms..

Frank Bretschneider's first release under the Komet alias
entitled Saat is amazing. I've purchased it twice - had it
stolen twice - now can't find it.

I got Vrioon a few weeks ago. Only gave it one listen but it
seemed OK. Problem was I was listening to it in the middle
of the afternoon, I think it's more suited to late-night
listening.

Heh, that's where I got mine. The Electric Birds album
Gradations is also available there - kinda hard to describe.
More rhythmic and full, lots of fun and doesn't take itself
too seriously.

thirdball - I'll have to look into Komet. Is it as low-key
as the stuff he does under his own name?

Jivver - downloaded a few tracks of Martin Brinkmann's IR
project from his website - there's one called duu1 that
reminds me quite a bit of Posthuman.
