if anyone's interested, LeCoeur and i are 45 minutes deep
into co-hosting my show this week.

streaming link

you've missed the cure, joy division, instrumental elastica,
a 20 minute set by my tuburculosis-suffering apprentice
(good riddance), and now a cool song by common.... next up
is "iz-us"

Tits, who was that woman you were mentioning that did some
kind 1920s style music in a little white girl voice even
though she was a big black woman? I think she had something
to do with The Roots.

Lately I'm getting into 20s music by way of R. Crumb and his
Cheap Suit Serenaders.

jill scott... the songs you're referring to is "i am music"
on common's new album (1920s music) and "complexity" on the
roots' new album (white girl voice). her debut album is
supposed to be amazing... i think it was nominated for some
grammy's, not that that means much nowadays.

ahhh
i keep forgetting that i actually have a reason to get up on
sunday mornings before 11...

i need to sleep less. i had a dream i was watching a really
bizzare thing from the holy grail dvd. it was about this
girl who worked at the castle, and it was really serious.
and i was going to tell everyone on the board about it. and
for about a minute after i woke up, i thought it was real. i
also woke up in the middle of the night listening to bad hip
hop on the radio, and for some reason i thought it was the
signal that we were being attacked, and i got dressed an ran
downstairs and then i was like 'wait. what the hell?'

and i just remembered your show ends at 11, not 12 (my time)
:/ i was listening to that old jazz guy i guess. i was like
"damn, travis must be hung over or something" and then it
hit me.
now at least i don't feel so bad about not liking the last
two tunes...
