realizing a lot

I am failing horribly at college.
I have a job.
I like listening to music (electronic music, most
importantly!).
'Tis a blur when your blazin'.
Love does NOT last forever.

I've realised the following since Christmas:

I don't need to worry about my future.

Most people are exceprionally weak willed.

More money does make you happier.

Most people try to blame their mistakes on other things.

I really like to eat snails, after years of saying I never
would as a child...

I'm a pretty good cook when I can be bothered.

Ironing bores the hell out of me- I need a mail order
bride.

If you deprive yourself of sleep in the week you end up
sleeping for hours at the weekend.

You can get SH-101s in decent condition for £150 on ebay. I
was giving them some serious thought myself as the sound of
the SH-101 emulator on Vaz modular synth for PC is great.

And BoC used to use them :)

a. There's a lot of shit bottled up inside me which I need
to release.
b. I need to calm the fuck down and stop stressing about my
future.
c. My girlfriend means a vast amount to me.

I was considering getting a sh-101 and to use it as a midi
keyboard for my PC (they do have midi out, right?) as well
as a synth. I like the sounds they make a lot although I'm
not sure about the optional 80s style handle :) I think I'd
probably go for the classic grey one if I was going to get
one.

1. I just realized i can count my teeth using just my
tongue...

Seriously though, last month i realized life is much easier
than i was afraid of. I realized sending out a positive
self-esteem will give you much more opportunities reaching
any goals. Well, maybe i knew this earlier, now i realized i
can do it too.

I agree with the second one. I've realised I don't need to
worry about my future. I'm reasonably pleasant, hard working
and skilled. I will always be able to find work and I can
get on well with most people. what's there to worry about?

i realized:

· i haven't changed that much since my childhood. rather
unfortunately.
· i have wasted my past, right now i'm wasting my present
and maybe my future at the same time, but i don't really
care.
· i have the bad habit of always complaining about things
rather than fixing them. but i will rather complain about
that habit than try to fix it.
· i find myself "really kind of stupid and ugly
too"
, and lazy and many other things, but when i ask
people it seems that i'm not the only one who dislikes
self.
· i'm usually happy when i forget about myself.
· life is only beautiful with the 'make up' we put on it.
· i'm just a very normal geeky whiny teenager after all.
maybe i could even fit the goth stereotype if i wanted!
· i'm only realizing bad things.

I need to get out more
I need to be in the music
I don't need to smoke less, I need to smoke more but stop

I realised that all matter is merely energy condensed to a
slow vibration. That we are all one consciousness
experiencing itself subjectively. There is no such thing as
death, life is only a dream and we're the imagination of
ourselves

For the reasons I gave! Unless there is a large war: I won't
starve, I'm unlikely to be killed in violent crime. I have
no dependants (children etc.) What's there to worry about?

My SH-101 is in for repairs :( its so lovely, i really want
it back so i can hook it up to some FX pedals or just use it
normally and get some lush Aphex/Boc-ish bass sounds out of
it

I anticipate a "You've got something to worry about, your
music is gash!" comment ;)

Here's a link to my music. These aren't my best tracks
(although I am proud of Paraffin Psychic), but I can't get
into my MP3 account to change the songs so it defaulted to
my most recent 3.

Post/email your comments.

Thanks.

Yes, I think it's ability to do squelchy acid is a little
overrated, but the bass sounds are sublime.
