I saw a documentry last night on how Ireland supplied beef to Iraq for their soldiers during the entire Iran Iraq war (america funded both sides arsenal too) and despite the Kurds been masacred we also shiped out hundreds of Irish nurse to serve the Iraqi government. hmm yes well, i think for a lot of people, probably mostly in america, but other places too - they think, well thats wrong too, they dont really think and they end up thinking that it doesnt matter. so really it doesnt matter to a lot of people because it doesnt actually effect them at the time or in the short run, BASiCLY most people just dont give a shit either way what happens to them or their country as long as they can have their beer and watch daytime tv. |
