"'Army Ants' by Stone Temple
Pilots (...) *kills self in shame*
"

No! Don't feel embarassed! The Stone Temple Pilots are one
of the most underrated bands in history! Somehow in "their"
time (early 90's) they were always insulted by everyone
saying they were just a poor Pearl Jam-copy. And after that
nobody really took them seriously anymore. But i swear they
have always continued to make many excellent rocksongs!

Core - okay album, some great songs, some not so
interesting.

Purple - pretty much perfect, truly wonderful album where
they actually found their "own" sound. One of my favourite
albums ever. Army Ants is incredible, but so are the other
songs :-)

Tiny Music - some very weak tracks, but a majority of
fantastic songs! They made this during a very difficult
period with Weiland, i think the record suffered because of
that, but you can really hear the potential here... could
have been one of the greatest albums of all time (and still
pretty amazing).

#4 - fantastic! So much energy! Great loud rockmusic! They
really took me by surprise with this one, i thought the band
had died, and then suddenly there was this album with the
most awful coverartwork and title. But when i heard it i was
amazed... almost as good as purple!

Shangri-la dee da - sadly their worst album so far. They've
been experimenting, but in most cases it hasn't worked out
very well. But still... there are 4 or 5 good songs on this
album, and i still have hope the 6th album will blow me away
again (actually i also just hope there will be 6th
album at all ;-)).
