I just got back from a marathon 3 hour cinema class, but it flew by because we were studying the almighty Citizen Kane. Awesome movie, and the prof was just gushing over it, pointing out every clever little thing Welles did in it, pausing it every 30 seconds... kind of annoying. Queer little bookends to his career, starting out with this and then finally reaching the pinnacle of his profession by providing the voice for the planet-eating robot Unicron in Transformers: The Movie. Does anyone know where I can get the radio broadcast of War of the Worlds? It's gotta be on the net somewhere. |
