They do shit like this all the fucking time. It's not enough
for Microsoft to win; everyone else has to lose.

That's good business sense though isn't it? Destroy the
opposition!

I stopped using Opera because MSN seemed to be completely
screwed up. Opera sucks.

Bed is the poor man's opera.

-Italian proverb

i'm sorry to hear about whats happening, what i don't
understand is why would they want WORLD domination of
anything, i mean competition breeds excellence and mom and
pop organizations should be allowed to function alongside
microsoft (which will always make millions of dollars) and
people should be allowed a CHOICE between msn and other
software companies.

My only question is, how do you buttfuck someone in the
mouth?

besides being a vile thread, I think one would find msn.com
is a portal for a lot of people.

While there is no logical reason to ever visit, tell that to
anyone who's homepage is default set to it.

I don't think someone who is going to have msn.com as a
bookmark is using opera, and if they are, they have more
than 30 pixles of decentration, and it's not in their
browser.........

They have to resort to sabotage, because Siegfried and
Brunhild would whip their ass in a fair fight.

everytime i look on the register i see more microsoft
sneaky/bullyboy tactics. it makes me so sick. in a similar
vein, my school has just 'upgraded' to windows XP on 15
computers. of course the PII 500mhz machines were far too
slow for word running on XP, so they bought new hardware
(pentium4s) (from RM as always) total cost: £25,000 for 15
comps!

*sigh* I would use Linux for everything if hardware
manufacturers were better about writing drivers for Linux.
The time I'm having getting my M-audio 24/96 sound card
running with Red Hat, OY I wouldn't wish on a dog.

Software is not as big a problem, because if there isn't an
equivalent native app, there's always Wine or VMWare to run
it in emulation.

A native Linux port of Cakewalk or Cubase would be nice too.
Now that developers are writin Unix-ese Posix-ish apps for
OSX it will be easier to port them to Linux in the
future....

i thought m-audio made drivers for linux?

No, drivers are available for a price from OSS or free from
ALSA. They don't ship them on a disk with the Mac and Win32
drivers EVEN THOUGH THEY FEATURE A PENGUIN ON THE FUCKING
BOX!!!!! (though binary drivers would be out of date fast
the way Linux kernel development goes...)

I have to sit down and untar the ALSA source and compile and
fiddle.... just haven't had the time lately. :-(

BAD employment. BAD!!!!
